Children have a natural ability to play and connect with nature—often better than we do as adults! We invite all children and their caregivers to join us for a Sunday at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. We will share in fun and mindful activities designed to help everyone slow down, connect with nature, themselves and make new friends!

Andrew Tomasulo (he/him)
Andrew is a father, artist, meditation instructor, and a New York State-certified mediation and conflict resolution specialist. A graduate of IDP’s Meditation Teacher Training (MTT) and Teaching Mindfulness to Children (TMTC) programs, Andrew was first introduced to meditation through a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. He later studied within the Thich Nhat Hanh, Shambhala, and Dzogchen traditions.
What many meditation communities often lack is a focus on incorporating mindfulness within the family and fostering connections between families through shared mindful practices. Andrew is dedicated to bridging this gap, using mindfulness as a tool not only for personal growth but also for strengthening family bonds and building supportive, connected communities.
