Phil Richman's most recently published book Karma and the Rise of Buddhism in the West explores the Buddhist principle of cause and effect and its implications for everyday life. He has presented on Karma and Causality at the American Philosophical Association and is currently at work translating a text on Karma from the Tibetan Nyingmapa tradition. A holder of graduate degrees in Philosophy and Telecommunications, Richman has extensive experience in meditation in the Shambhala and Tantric Buddhist traditions.
