How does annoying people in a subway cause enlightenment when the direct result is annoyance and displeasure, e.g. suffering?
How are you not just the Westboro Baptist Church of Buddhism, in people's faces just to be in people's faces and smugly certain your brand of spiritual magic is real while everyone else's concerns are false?
Much as they misuse events for their own ideological objectives, you too misuse space.
