Jackie Stewart Reed is a certified Integrative Sound and Music Practitioner based in New York City. With a dedicated interest in the therapeutic properties of sound and meditation, she has been exploring how vibration can impact humans on both mental and physical levels. Working with harmonic overtone emitting instruments, olfactory stimuli, and focused breathwork, Jackie invites attention away from the discursive mind, and into self-awareness. Having studied under Alexandre Tannous, her approach is based on the intersection of art, science, and spirituality. She offers sound meditations to relax and nurture our innate mind-body connection as a modality to transform consciousness and improve well-being.  Jackie is a teacher at The Interdependence Project.

"The function of music is to release us from the tyranny of conscious thought." -Sir Thomas Beecham
