"Scared Clouds" Play Reading & Potluck
Beginning in March 2010 TREe will offer a monthly potluck-style dinner featuring the live reading of a new theatrical script.
Bring your favorite dish and join us at 302 Bowery to hear work from exciting writers who challenge both imagination and the boundaries of dramatic form. This Month's reading will be of "Scared Clouds" by Cheryl Harnest.
The Theatre Research Ensemble, or TREe, is an ensemble of performers who practice art-based research that focuses on expressing the wellness benefits of regular participation in creative community engagement, and the artist's emerging role as social healer.
Synopsis:
Imagination and reality intersect in this play within a play, where a clown troupe performs a prison drama.
