This course is a chance to deepen your understanding and practice of three core Buddhist meditation techniques – Contemplative Insight Practice, Metta (Lovingkindness) and Tonglen (Sending & Taking). Study Topics will include: Experiencing the 9 Stages of Calm Abiding, The Four Limitless Minds, Types of Insight (Vipashyana), Obstacles to Practice, and The Tibetan Buddhist body of teachings associated with Tonglen practice.

The Techniques of Meditation Heartcore Dharma Course will be open to anyone. At the same time, the series will offer lots of new material for those currently participating in either of our current Hardcore Dharma Groups.

Required Readings will be from:
"Lovingkindness" by Sharon Salzberg and
"The Practice of Lojong"by Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche

Suggested Readings:
"Natural Wakefulness" by Gaylon Ferguson
"Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha" by Daniel Ingram

Registration Fees for whole series:
$150 or $100 for members
Homestudy: $50 or $30 for members
